That's the problem. I can use full hd resolution (1920x1080), but the entire desktop, all the four borders, are bigger than the screen... I pressume that's because windows is recognizing my lcd tv as 42" instead of 32"... Any ideas??

You have to make sure the resolution you are using the monitor/TV supports it, and then try the following solution at the link below:

It is not a problem of resolution. However I tried that driver and my W7 crashes, and had to restart it in safe mode and reinstall the newest driver.
But I did find a solution: You have to play with different resolutions for the Television LCD screen; in some of them you can adjust the percentage or size of the screen. 60% works for me. Then I use it for clone display or extended display and it keeps resizing the screen for both.
