Intel HD 620 low performance

Intel HD 620 only gives me 128mb of vram and I can't run any games not even games like sims 3 or Minecraft , I've seen people with the same laptop have 1gb of vram and run games like gta v and I'm really frustrated and I know not to expect much from a laptop with integrated graphics but I should at atleast be able to play games like sims 3 and Minecraft , if I upgrade the ram will it take more Memory to use for graphics?

OS: windows 10 home 64 bit , installed memory (RAM) : 4gb (1x4gb) ddr4 @2133mhz cpu: intel core i3 7100u @2.40ghz
