I have an Intel HD Graphics 530 and a Nvidia Geforce 1650 Super. I would like to hookup my Intel to the Digital input of my monitor and the Geforce to the Geforce card input. Then be able to switch to ether card by switching the monitor. I'm using a Asus Z170-A motherboard. Can this be done.

Yes, but there is a possible caveat: when you POST, it may not detect both "monitors" as being present. It may only see the one that is selected as the default input for the monitor. This may cause the BIOS to disable the port as no monitor appears to be present.
This is, of course, dependent upon the monitor in use.
