I have a Dell Latitude laptop with Intel Core i7 6100H @ 2.70GHz processor, running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 530 (Dell), 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 M370 (Dell)
When I connect my Dell U2711 monitor to this laptop, using a high speed HDMI cable, I cannot choose larger display resolution for the external monitor than 1920x1200.
The driver version of Intel HD Graphics 530 is up to date (22.20.16.4836).
I would very much like to use the external monitor at its maximal resolution of 2560 x 1440 (preferrable but not necessary at 60 Hz).
Hope someone can help me!

Which Dell Latitude exactly?
Did you install monitor driver from http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/dell-u2711/drivers Support for Dell U2711 | Drivers & downloads | Dell US ?
Do you use a straight HDMI cable without adapter, convertor or dongle?
1920x1200 would be the max. resolution of DVI
