When launching almost any 3d game my gpu usage can get up to 100% randomly, yet i play on low graphics. This problem was not around since i bought my laptop, it is quite new.

Hi mpoki,

To further investigate this I need to  understand your entire system information, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This will generate a text file that compiles all your system information. You can follow this link for instructions and send the text file here. How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows

Also, can you also share which 3D game you are currently playing that causes your GPU to reach 100% usage? Additionally, does this happen on other game? If yes, can you share the name of the games?

I am looking forward hearing from you.

Best regards,

Well the problem disappeared after i got the cooling pad for my laptop. If you still wanna know in which games the usage was peaking: its kinda every game with graphics better than minecraft, such as war thunder, cs2, fortnite etc.

I found this problem too.
on my Lenovo Thinkbook.
I watch youtube 720P full screen on own screen or external screen. 3D usage run to 60-80% but it will be drop to below 20% when 1080 P fullscreen.

I might need find some cooling pad to fix it too.

If your GPU usage spikes to 100% when launching 3D games, even on low graphics settings, it might be due to background processes, driver issues, or recent software changes. Since your laptop is new, it's less likely to be a hardware problem. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, close unnecessary background tasks, and check if any recent updates are causing the issue. Also, check if your GPU is overheating by monitoring its temperature through the graphics card control panel or using MSI Afterburner.
Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
