Intel Iris XE or intel iris xe dg1

Hi so I was wondering whether intel's iris xe graphics (built in) and intel iris dg1 were the same.

In reference to your question, no, they are not the same, the Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics controller is integrated into the processor and Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics MAX or DG1 is discrete, not integrated. In the following link, you will be able to confirm further details about each graphics controller:
