Hello,
My laptop has the Intel Iris Xe graphics card. I hooked up a 49" Samsung Odyssey Oled monitor to it. I can't seem to get the resolution or aspect ration to look right. Does this graphics card support an ultrawide monitor?
Thank you

This depends on how the laptop manufacturer implemented the processor with integrated graphics, i.e., which ports the graphics are connected to internally and how.
Please provide the laptop manufacturer and model.

Thank you for your response, MUC.
I'm currently using an HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the monitor.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 3530.

1 x HDMI 1.4
There are several versions of this laptop model. In my experience, the HDMI 1.4 port on Dell laptops is not suitable for driving an ultrawide monitor. However, if your device has a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort [5]
you can use one of these cables to operate the monitor at its maximum capabilities:
- Zeskit MAYA 8K Bi-Directional USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable
- Club 3D USB Type C Cable to DP 1.4 (CAC-1557)
- Cable Matters USB-C to DisplayPort Cable - 8K Ready (201036)
- Cable Matters Premium Braided USB C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable (201336)
