Hello,
I just bought ASRock G41M-VS3 R2.0 mainboard with G41 chipset and Intel X4500 on board.
My monitor is samsung P2270, it is connected through D-SUB -> DVI cable.
Now, optimal resolution for this monitor is 1920x1080, but when i select it my screen is not enough wide, on the left and right i have about 2-3 cm black space, the screen is squeezed, fonts are not clear.
I tried to install various drivers, from some old one to the newest but the problem still exists.
Did anyone has the same problem?

Hi marcin,
Can you post a copy of both of the following:
1. Intel* Graphics and Media Control Panel report (CTRL + ALT + F12 -> Options and Support - Information Center - > 'Save')
2. dxdiag: (Start -> Run -> dxdiag -> Save All Information).
Just copy and paste both walls of text here and we'll take a look.
Thanks,
-Nic

Thanks for providing that info Marcin. Two things real quick; the first report you saved from the Intel® Graphics and Media Control Panel, does not list the EDID or supported resolutions. This may mean that your machine is not recognizing your monitor or it's included features. Can you verify for me that when you look at the report before doing the 'Save' command, that it lists the supported resolutions and EDID # ?
Also, the dxdiag unfortunately does not include some of the info I was looking for. Can you tell me your system manufacturer and model is? If it's a built-system, can you tell me what make/model the motherboard is?
Thanks,
-Nic
