Intel XeSS gone from Oblivion Remastered

Hello,

I bought an Intel Arc B580 yesterday and spent most of yesterday and today playing Oblivion Remastered using XeSS upscaling. An hour ago windows forced me an update and suddenly I can only select 'off' and 'FSR' as upscaling options. My windows build is 22621.5189 and my Intel Graphics Driver build is 32.0.101.6739

I tested it in Hogwarts Legacy and there it does allow me to select XeSS.

Does anybody know a fix to this?

Hi Tobiasblok001,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

  • Have you used DDU to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?
  • Have you tried adjusting the graphics settings?
  • Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?
  • Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here. Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility.

Hi Archie,

Well, yes and no. I tried the DDU, but my pc crashed when it tried to launch the application. But somehow on a reboot there was new windows update available, after that update the XeSS setting came back. So it seems to be fixed!
