What graphics software are you talking about?

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Hi Dean,

Sorry for interfering is this thread but I just see this topic and want to add something in order to make the problem a little bit more specific:

I also installed the latest intel graphics software driver 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 (upgrading from version 6460) a few days ago and had a similar problem. However I want to clarify something here because the problem is not always visible. I think it has to do with the "mode"  that the intel graphics software service. I will elaborate this next:

First of all  I have W11 home edition desktop powerd by an intel core i5 13400 with an arc a750 gpu. The Wndows 11 has all the latest updates. I have multiple accounts on this pc for me (as administrator) and for my kids as standard users.

Now after installing driver 6557 (I do a clean install always), I observed the following issues:

1) In my administrator account the intel graphics software tray icon dis not appear on the taskbar anymore , although the corresponding service was running, based on what is I was seeing on the task manager

2) On non administrator accounts everything worked fine. The icon was present on the tray and by clicking on it, it opened and I was able to do everything allowed (e.g., view metrics, and change some options). However, the performance tuning tab is not available in this case, since I assume the service runs on a different mode with less rights.

3) Now going back to the administrator account, where the tray in not visible. Even I tried to execute the intel graphics software application from the windows start menu nothing happened, probably because as I said in (1) the service wa already running. Now there was a way to open the appication, in administration accounts also,  but only if I stopped manually the corresponding running service and invoked the application from the start menu. However, in this case the performance tuning tab was not available, because I assume that running the application from the start menu launches it in "normal" mode instead of "admin".

So given the above I am believe that the problem with the new software/driver update (6557) has to do with the Perfromance tuning options.  This belief become a certainty, when I performed a customized re-installation of the previous driver package (6460) where I opted to install the previous version of the intel graphics software only thus maintaining the new driver (6557). In this case (that is 6557 driver and 6460 graphics software) the software tray icon indeed appeared on the taskbar in the administrator account as well (with the performance tuning tab functional), however the application wasn't very stable and I think that the performance also of the card was not as it was before (assesing it through passmark's 3d benchmarks).

In this perspective I decided to go back to the latest WHQL driver (6458) through removing everything related to my gpu software (using ddu software) and re-installing the 6458 package.

Now everything works as it was before, and I decided hereafter to go only for the WHQL drivers, so I enabled the corresponding option on the software also.

Sorry for the big post, but I hope that It will help you locate the problem and solve it.

I have the same problem after I installed the lastes driver update: 32.0.101.6262 for Arc B580。"Intel Graphics Softwares" fails to start. I tried to reinstall the update several times, it didn't work.

Then I uninstalled "Intel Graphics Softwares" to install fresh again, but I didn't find a way to do so.

Is there a way I can manually install this software??

I do not have an b580 but rather the older a750, so consider my sayings with reservations. However, I think that the Intel graphics software is packaged with the driver, so if you reinstall the driver it will be installed again. However I doubt that it will work. You probably have to go back to previous/older driver package. You should probably perform a clean install by checking the corresponding option or the customize button.
If this does not work then you have to uninstall everything related to Intel drivers using a third party software called ddu(Download Display Driver Uninstaller) and reinstall the driver you want (probably the older one which is more functional). I think this would be also intel's official proposition, as you can see on this link from another post from the Intel's official knowledge database.

Hi @iprigg @RyanLincs1

I appreciate your prompt response however, I suggest creating a new thread for this concern to avoid further confusions.
