Hi,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
We only provide support in English. I have translated your question. "Dear all, I recently bought a 165hz monitor but when connecting an HDMI to my notebook an Ideapd Gaming 3i (i5 11300h, 16gb, gtx 1650 4gb) directly to the monitor the system just shows me the 120hz option, I thought I should use an HDMI 2.0 however when connecting to another notebook that uses Radeon the system presented options of 165hz, 144hz, 120hz.
My notebook uses an integrated graphics card intel iris xe graphics which I have already tried to configure, updated to the latest version and still without success."
Does this reflect your question correctly?
Regards,
Jilani

Luís_Pereira, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
We will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Is this a new computer?
What is the model of the monitor?
Were you able to ever get 165hz or 144hz on this specific machine using this same monitor before?
If yes, when did the issue start?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this problem?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html
Any questions, please let me know.

Luís_Pereira, Thank you very much for providing that information and the SSU report.
Based on the information shown in the SSU document, we can confirm that the graphics driver version currently installed on your computer is 31.0.101.4502. Which is provided by Lenovo and should be the proper driver for your device since it was customized by them to work with your specific platform:
Since the issue happens with that driver version installed, please try a clean installation of Intel® graphics driver version 31.0.101.5084 following the instructions in the links below:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html
Driver:
Additionally, we also suggest to get in contact directly with Lenovo Support to make sure the latest BIOS version is currently installed in your machine or, if necessary, to gather the instructions on how to update it:
https://support.lenovo.com/us/en
Once you get the chance, please let us know the results.

The source is a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 (15IHU6). Intel Core i5-11300H:
The display is an Acer ED273 P widescreen monitor (UMHE3EEP14), 1920 × 1080 @ 165 Hz. Is this correct?
This monitor with 2 HDMI ports appears to have two different HDMI versions. One port is HDMI 1.4 and the other is 2.0.
Then please check what happens when you connect the laptop to the other HDMI port on the monitor.

Windows or the graphics driver still seem to only be able to establish a connection corresponding to the bandwidth of only 9 Gbps (HDMI 1.4). For Coordinated Video Timing - Reduced Blanking (CVT-RB) the maximum TMDS is 297 MHz then.
1080p @ 120 Hz RGB 8-bit = 7.56 Gbps
1080p @ 144 Hz RGB 8-bit = 9.18 Gbps
1080p @ 165 Hz RGB 8-bit = 10.62 Gbps
HDMI 2.0 should actually offer 18 Gbps (594 MHz TMDS).
Could you please connect the Lenovo IdeaPad to the monitor's HDMI port the AMD laptop is working with using the same HDMI cable and then create a Report for Intel Graphics Drivers and attach it here?

Please excuse me, I was unclear. What I meant was this: You know that the AMD laptop will work as you expect with a specific cable on a specific monitor port.
Please connect this exact cable to the corresponding HDMI port on the monitor and the other side to the IdeaPad and create the report on the IdeaPad. Then we'll see what data the IdeaPad's graphics driver receives from the monitor.

As you've probably already seen, the report lists the desired modes:
- 1920 x 1080 (144p Hz)
- 1920 x 1080 (165p Hz)
Even though only HDMI can be connected to the IdeaPad, the report says "Connector Type: DisplayPort". This is strange, but it could also be insignificant. The Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) that the monitor sends show:
This is all good.
The report shows the driver version as "31.0.15.4633" for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. Since I don't know how the Nvidia chip interacts with the Intel chip, the only recommendation left is to install the Nvidia driver offered by Lenovo on the official website:
If that doesn't help, you should contact Lenovo with reference to this thread.

hi @MUC ,
I updated the drivers and contacted Lenovo, they informed me that this was a limitation of the iris xe graphics, I believe it is some limitation of the card because I connected it to a Dell notebook with windows using the same cable and the same hdmi port and it showed me 165hz using the Intel iris x graphics.

I'm sorry we can't solve your issue.
However, I can also say that the Intel basic technology definitely features an HDMI 2.0 interface.
I tested an Intel NUC11TNKv7 with 11th Generation Intel Core Processor, which has the same PS8409A Retimer chip as installed in your laptop.
This retimer chip has the limitation that it cannot process a color depth higher than 8 bit, but the HDMI 2.0 bandwidth of 18 Gbps was definitely there (port #2).
4K @ 60 Hz RGB 8-bit = 18 Gbps (594 MHz TMDS).
Please send this information to Lenovo and request assistance from 2nd Level Support (or even 3rd Level Support).
