Intell 620 - Windows 11 - screen flickering then screen goes black

Hi,

I am experiencing an issue regarding my Dell laptop - Latitude 3400 - with Intel 620 graphics card.

After the windows starts, screen starts to flicker then goes black. The issue is solved when I uninstall driver, and when I install latest windows update or intel driver the issue appears again.

Any clue?

Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities.


I understand that your screen flickers when you install the Intel graphics driver on your system. We would like to know what driver version is causing the issue on the system, please verify the device manager display adapters when the issue happens and when the system is working properly, and let us know each driver version:


  • Go to Device Manager > Display adapter
  • Right Click on Intel® HD Graphics 620
  • Go to Properties > Driver Tab
  • Check the driver version installed.


In addition, we would like to know the BIOS and driver installed on the system, create and share with us a log file from the Intel® System Support Utility so we can get the information. As well please let us know if the issue happens while using any program/application or just while idle on the desktop.
