Buenas:

Gracias.

Hello Grabiela,

Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.

Our support is only provided in English. To better assist you, we used a translator tool.

Please provide the below information:

  • When did the issue start? (After an update, after change settings, etc)
  • Is the PC connected to the power supply when this happens?

Please run the following tool and attach the report generated.

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)

  • Intel® SSU Download
  • Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

Hello Grabiela,

Thank you for the information provided.

The workaround that we can recommend for the issue you are experiencing is a clean installation of the graphics drivers. However, in the Lenovo and Intel website, your Operating System is not listed as a compatible one. You can check the drivers available here:

Lenovo*:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/cr/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/g40-30-notebook-lenovo

Intel*:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29802/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-33-?product=85552

Since you are using Windows* 8 the drivers are not compatible (only for Windows* 7, 8.1,10). In this case, our best recommendation is to update the Operating System and then proceed to update the drivers available on the Lenovo Website. Also, you can contact Lenovo, and request assistance if your Laptop came with Windows* 8 installed, since they do not have customized drivers available, and that can cause instability and performance issues on your system.
