Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Convertible Ultrabook Tablet

Model Name: 20266 Model date: 6/28/14

Intel HD4400 Graphics

Windows 10 can't install the proper drivers automatically. Are there any I can download and try to install manually?

Rolled back to 8.1 until this issue is addressed. No drivers means no secondary display like a projector. That's not cool.

Yep. Tried them as well. Did a manual uninstall, then a manual reinstall, and still a no go.

My Yoga is one generation older than yours, but it looks like we will probably get the same driver updates. I have the older Intel HD Graphics 4000. I'm still waiting for my Windows 10 upgrade, so I haven't tried this. But did you see this message? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25027/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Beta-Driver-for-Windows-10 Intel® Download Center. The Download Center says that a driver update is available through http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/. I was wondering if you tried that or not.

Tried that first, then the auto utility, then the driver listed in this forum, then tried Win Update again. All to no avail.

Rolled back to 8.1 for now as it needs to work with a projector.

Same computer, same problem (code 43).

Tried for hours today with various combinations of updates from the Lenovo site, Intel's various drivers, and Microsoft's automatic updates for drivers with no success.

In case anyone from Intel is listening, here's what I found in the event log for my latest attempt at manually installing 4256 downloaded from the intel site (how do I attach a text file?):

fixed!

I used this software:

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

to clean out the driver cruft, removed anything related to Intel Graphics in 'add/remove programs', then installed 4256 from the "Have Disk" button in device manager.

I also had a USB VGA driver installed that I removed. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

I now have a fully functioning "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family" driver running. I've verified that the HDMI port is again recognized and working.

Hello overtimegoal,

I think that you deleted the driver signature with that software so the installation went just fine after that.

Thank you for sharing this information with the community.
