Hi eonline,
Thank you for posting in our Community. While the A380 is capable of handling many modern titles, performance can vary depending on in-game settings, system configuration, and current driver optimizations. We’re always working to improve game compatibility and performance through regular driver updates, and your report helps us focus on titles that may need additional tuning. To better understand your setup and assist further, could you kindly provide the following details:

  • What resolution and graphics settings are you using in New World: Aeternum (e.g., 1080p, Medium/High/Ultra)?
  • Are you running DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 for this game?
  • Are you using Resizable BAR (ReBAR), and is it enabled in BIOS?
  • Have you checked if any background applications (e.g., recording software, overlays, etc.) are running while playing?

I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue. I kindly ask you to provide CapFrameX data for this game. This will help us analyze performance metrics more thoroughly and identify any issues. However, please share a CapFrameX file that captures at least 2-5 minutes of gameplay.

Have a nice day!

Hello eonline,

Thank you for your continued patience while we look into the performance issues you've reported. To proceed with a more in-depth investigation, we kindly ask for your assistance in gathering a few key details. This information will help us better understand the issue and replicate your environment as closely as possible:

  1. Did the game performance issues begin when playing New World Aeternum, or was it working fine before?
  2. Let us know which digital service or platform you're using to play the game. New World: Aeternum is available via Steam, with both Deluxe and Standard Editions listed here: New World Shop. Please confirm which edition and platform you’re using.
  3. Kindly provide a screenshot of your current in-game graphics settings. This will allow us to replicate your setup for comparison and testing.
  4. The CapFrameX logs you provided earlier appear to only capture around 20 seconds of data. To better assess performance, could you please rerun the benchmark and record at least 3 minutes (180 seconds) of gameplay? This will give us a clearer performance profile to work with.
  5. Perform a DDU and install the 32.0.101.6913 WHQL Certified (Latest) driver. Once the latest driver is installed, test the game again and let us know if you notice any improvements.
  6. To further assist in our analysis, please generate and share a new Intel® SSU report. This will provide us with a detailed snapshot of your system specifications and configurations.

Best regards,

Hello eonline,

Thank you for confirming the edition and for sharing the requested logs. Regarding the DDU and installing the 32.0.101.6913 WHQL Certified (Latest) driver, have you already tried it? If so, have you tried to test the game again? If so, let me know if you notice any improvements.

Hello eonline,

Thank you for your continued patience as we look into your concern. I’d like to set proper expectations regarding your current setup. After reviewing your system configuration, we’ve found that it does not meet the minimum system requirements for optimal performance with Intel® Arc™ A-Series graphics. For reference, you can review the full list of supported system requirements here: Intel® Arc™ A-Series Minimum Requirements . In our internal testing, we used a comparable system, an Intel® Core™ i5-12400 paired with a Z690 motherboard, and we also observed low FPS issues, which supports your current experience. That said, we’ll continue investigating this behavior further. However, please note that all testing on our side will be performed using systems that meet the supported specifications for Intel Arc graphics. As a result, any optimizations or improvements we identify may not fully carry over to your current setup. I truly appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated with any findings or recommendations as our investigation progresses.

Hello eonline,

Thank you once again for your detailed feedback and patience.

We’ve thoroughly reviewed your concern and made efforts to replicate the issue using the same settings and system configuration you described. Based on our internal testing, the Intel® Arc™ A380 graphics card performed within expected parameters and in line with comparable graphics solutions from other vendors. Given these findings, we believe it would be best to reach out directly to the game developers to further verify whether the observed behavior aligns with their minimum and recommended system requirements. They may also be able to provide game-specific optimizations or patches if needed.

I will now be closing this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,

Von M.
