Hi,
Since I've installed Windows 7 on my notebook (I was using Windows Vista before, and didn't had this problem) I've noticed that when trying to run any game (tried several) on fullscreen, I can't really play with the screen completely filled with the game (my notebook is widescreen, so it just centers the image and fills the sides of the screen with black).
Trying to figure out how to "fix" this, I've done some searches on Google and stumbled upon some forums where people with the same problem (but with different graphic cards, from other manufacturers, mostly NVIDIA and ATI) were discussing it and found that this could be solved by changing the aspect ratio setting on their drivers.
So it seemed logical for me to try the same. I opened the software and saw it was already set to "Full screen (no margin)".
Then I thought that maybe if I switched to another option, allowing the driver to update it's configuration, and then switched back to the "Full screen (no margin)" option that was selected by default but didn't seemed to be working or in effect, maybe it should fix it. At least, it was something for me to try.
So, yes, I selected another option, clicked OK, then OK again, and nothing seemed to change. I opened those windows again just to find that the "Full screen" option was selected back (as if it didn't stored the change I made). So I tried changing again, and saw that the same thing happens: nothing.
That's it. I'm unable to change the aspect ratio setting, and the option selected by default doesn't work. I can't figure out what to do. Any ideas?
I'm running Windows 7 Professional on my Dell Vostro 1510 notebook with the latest version available of the Intel GMA driver (8.15.10.1912). I'm pasting the Diagnostic Report output below, so any relevant specification data can be found here.

renmel, did you (or anyone else) find a solution?
I'm having the exact same problem as you. I have Windows 7 like you do, however, my computer is not a Dell but a Compaq Presario V3000 series.
Another question; how can I get the igfxTray Module tray icon back to the notification area? I managed to delete it.

Great support one can get on this forum... NOT!
But enough of sarcasm now; I found a solution by myself: install the driver for Windows Vista. Now everything is working fine.
I cannot get my tray icon back, however, so if anyone has a solution for this I would be grateful.
(Even when I uninstalled old driver with Uninstall Tool, and installed new Vista driver on my Win 7 system, the icon was still nowhere to be seen.)

Hello!
If settings for graphic is similar to Vista, which I use,
You can go to Control Panel, Appearance and Personalization, Adjust Screen Resolution,
then down Advanced Settings and there tab Intel Graphic Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile.
Down there mark "Show Tray Icon".
Hope you'll succeed.
Blessings

No, that's not a solution for me, everything is already up-to-date.
So, question remains: is there any working driver for Windows 7 yet?
