I would like to know whether an NVIDIA Quadro P4000 can be paired with a NUC6i7KYK "Skull Canyon" (through the thunderbolt/PCI-e) running Ubuntu, in order to support CUDA-enabled general purpose processing of signal-level data being generated by a USB-connected device. We are having trouble getting the NUC to even recognize the eGPU. If running Windows makes it easier, we can do that...but we'd rather run linux if we can.

Only Windows is supported as in the following link.

You may want to contact the linux community for assistance.
