I am using Matrix Storage Manager 8.8 with XP x64 and I do not have a tray icon. I have reinstalled and checked that iaanotif is selected as a startup item in the Windows msconfig System Configuration Utility. Any other ideas on how I could get it to appear? Thanks for any help.

That will be a problem in vista/win7, because you have to customize the icon not to be hidden... And when there is no icon to customize you will never be aware of any disk problems
