Hi!
I am playing God of War: Ragnarok and decided to try out the XeSS with my Intel Arc A770 16GB.
Unfortunately there are some pink artifacts around small dark objects that are flickering constantly. Here are some screenshots:
XeSS:
AMD FSR 3.1:
Software I am curently running on (gfx driver not the latest due to an issue with performance)
Screenshot from Intel Graphics Software:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.3194
RAM: 32GB DDR4 2133MHz
CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K (locked at max TDP of 110W)
Is there an issue filed for those artifacts? While it is nice to have 125 FPS with XeSS instead of 115 with FSR 3.1, those artifacts are annoying and I would rather play with FSR 3.1 until the issue is resolved.

Hello KacperTokarzewski,
We haven't received any reports of pink artifacts. However, Intel has released the latest graphics driver version 32.0.101.6632. Please update your graphics driver to this version and let me know if there are any changes. If the issue persists after updating, kindly provide a screenshot of the game settings.
Best regards,
John Sergio M.

Hello KacperTokarzewski,
Thank you for reaching out on the Intel Communities.
I noticed from your IGS screenshot that you are using an outdated driver version. Could you provide recordings of the pink artifacts you're experiencing? Additionally, does this issue occur with other games, or is it specific to Ragnarok?
As a temporary solution, you can manually install the latest driver version, Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6559 (WHQL Certified), for the Arc A770 graphics card.
Also, could you let me know which graphics card you were using before the Arc A770?
Best regards,
John Sergio M.

Sorry for late reply. I am currently out of town, please give me couple of days to come back, update the drivers and run the game then.

Hi @JohnM_Intel
The driver update worked for the artifacts (for now, but I advanced a bit more into the story so I dont have the exact location where the artifacts were seen)
Unfortunatelly the performace got worse - from 120 FPS to ~90 FPS with ocasional drops (all tested with frame generation from AMD), that is a bit worying.

Hello KacperTokarzewski,
Could you please share screenshots of your settings so I can replicate the FPS issue? Additionally, if possible, provide the CapFrameX results to help me analyze the FPS drops with the new driver.
Best regard,

Hi @JohnM_Intel
For some unknown reason the issue with framerate stopped reproducing. Now I have stable ~120 FPS (just as it was before).
I think we can close this thread.

Kacper
