Laurent

LTHEV, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

Just to let you know, we only provide support in English language and currently, we are using a translation tool.

Just to let you know, when using 3 displays the bandwidth is shared among all those screens, so the fact that the resolution goes back to 640-480 it indicates that the problem might be that there is not enough bandwidth for that configuration.

What is the model of the motherboard?

If this is a laptop what is the model of it?

How are you connecting the 3 displays, are you using adapters or converters?

Please provide the SSU report so we can verify some aspects about your platform:

And also please provide the Intel® Graphics report so we can check details about the Intel® Graphics driver:

LTHEV, Thank you very much for providing those reports.

Based on the information showing in there, we can see that the DELL P2219H and DELL P2216H are digital monitors and the DELL E173FP monitor is analog.

The Intel® Core™ i5-6300U Processor supports up to 3 displays as you can confirm in the link below, so, for this type of configuration it is expected that the analog monitor will suffer a decrement in the resolution since it has fewer capabilities compare to the digital displays and besides that the bandwidth is shared in this case among 4 displays, the 3 external monitors and the internal display. Most of the times the 4th monitor will not work at all so it is actually good that you have the option to use it even with a low resolution, but this behavior is actually expected when using more than 3 screens:

Alberto,

Thanks a lot for your answer.

The bandwith is shared even if i don't use the internal display ?

If a find a numeric screen to change the analog one, It will be the same ?

Best regards,

Laurent

LTHEV, Thank you very much for your response.

In reference to your question, yes, the bandwidth is shared even if you are not using the internal display. But more importantly, the Graphics controller that is located inside the Intel® Processor supports 3 pipelines and each pipeline supports one display, so even if there is enough bandwidth for the 4 displays, the Intel® Procesor will only support 3 and those will be the monitors that will have a signal.

Regarding changing the monitor, probably the reason why you are able to get signal on the 4th display is because the monitor is analog, it does not have high requirements or capabilities that is why works with a low resolution, most likely if you connect another digital monitor there will be no signal on it at all.

LTHEV, You are very welcome.

Thank you very much for sharing those results, yes, the HDMI cable will not make any difference since you are using 4 monitors and the Intel® Processor supports up to 3 displays.
