SUPPORT FOR DDR3 RAM ON INTEL GM45 EXPRESS CHIPSET

I am having a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6500 (2M Cache, 2.10 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) on a Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset with a 3 GB DDR2 (800MHz) RAM. My query is, can I replace the 3 GB DDR2 RAM with 4Gb of DDR3 (800 MHz) RAM. Will my system support this. My laptop is ACER Aspire 5738.
