Screen flickering glitch on Empire Earth

Hi there - I'm trying to play Empire Earth on my Lenovo Laptop, but am running into serious screen flickering issues when trying to play the game. I have no problem with opening the game, but during the game itself the screen will start to rapidly flicker, making it very hard to play.

I have Windows 10 and an Intel UHD Graphics 620 card. The game is playable on Windows 10 (other friends are able to play just fine, but have Nvidia or Geforce graphics cards). What can I do to be able to play this game with this graphics card???

Hello Nahrek, 

 

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.   

 

In order to better assist you, please provide the following: 

 

1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach the report generated:  

  • Open the application, check the "Everything" box, and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".   
  • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".   
  • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".   
  • Use the option under the reply window to attach the report to the thread (Drag and drop here or browse files to attach).  

 

2. Can you provide a video of the exact behavior that you get while playing this game? You can attach the video using the option under the reply window to attach the report to the thread (Drag and drop here or browse files to attach) or you can share a public link (YouTube for example). 

3. What are the settings that you use for running this game? If possible share a screenshot.  

4. Did the game run as expected before or never worked? If yes, do you recall making any changes before the issue started?
