Screen flickers with Intel® HD Graphics 530 (CPU i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz)

All,

I have an Asus GL553VW laptop and my screen flickers! The current software release is : 23.20.16.4849.

What can I do to stop flickering of my screen (also flickers on an external monitor using HDMI).

Please advise me how to solve this,

Hello jj.valstar,

 

 

Thank you for patience and for joining this community, it will be more than a pleasure to assist you.

 

In order to isolate the issue we will need you to uninstall the current graphic drivers that your system has, until the basic Microsoft*display driver is exposed (please make sure that you will do it with no internet access)

 

After that, for troubleshooting purposes please install the latest Intel ® Graphic generic Drivers found here:

 

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27892/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=88345

 

In order to do it, please go ahead and perform this update steps:

 

Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.

 

Open Device Manager:

 

For Windows 10: Right-click Windows Start icon

 

Click yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.

 

Expand the Display adapters section.

 

Right-click the Intel® graphics entry and select Update Driver Software.

 

Click Browse my computer for driver software.

 

Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

 

Click Have Disk.

 

Click Browse and select the directory where the driver files are located.

 

Click OK, and finally click Next.

 

Drivers are now being installed.

 

Restart your computer.

 

 

We will need as well the .txt file that the System Support Utility will generate. To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Добрый вечер.

У меня такая же проблема, которая длится уже примерно несколько недель.

Ноутбук Asus GL552VX. В простое дисплей начинает моргать, словно проблемы с видео ядром.

Сегодня обновился до последней версии драйверов, но проблема все равно сохранилась.

Данная проблема возникает только тогда, когда ничего не происходит: либо на рабочем столе (и то не всегда), либо просто в браузере, когда также ничего не делаешь.

Как писалось в теме, установил программу и прикрепил все, что она собрала.

Заранее спасибо.

In this case, will need you to uninstall the current graphic drivers that your system has (since you already tried our latest generic drivers, we suggest you to use the latest OEM VGA drivers .4454 first and nVidia* Graphics Driver .4454 second) until the basic Microsoft*display driver is exposed (please make sure that you will do it with no internet access)

 

After that, for troubleshooting purposes please install the latest OEM drivers found here:

In order to do it, please go ahead and perform this update steps:

К сожалению Ваш совет не помог, мерцания экрана остались.

Что самое удивительное, такие проблемы начались примерно спустя погода после покупки.

Программная ли это проблема, или аппаратная, очень хочется это выяснить, так как от этого зависит дальнейшая судьба ноутбука.

Приложу видео для наглядности.

Because you already performed a clean install of the graphics driver provided by your system manufacturer, our recommendation is that you can enter safe mode to determine whether 3rd party applications are causing conflicts on your system.

 

 

If your computer works normally under safe mode, then you may need to perform a system factory reset. Make sure you consult your system documentation first.

The laptop died completely, so it's back to the manufacture.

Добрый вечер, сделал все согласно советам.

Удалил, установил рекомендованные драйверы, однако это не помогло.

Проблема стала еще заметнее. Поэтому я удалил и поставил последние драйвера для Intel HD 530.

Проблема не исчезла полностью, но стала менее заметной.

За прошедшую неделю, проблема с миганием экрана была только 1 раз.

Надеюсь, что она и вовсе пропадет.

Доброе утро.

За прошедшее время, я не заметил проблемы мерцания экрана ноутбука.

Надеюсь, не замечу ее и в дальнейшем.
