Hello hq00,
Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.
To better assist you, please provide us with the below information:
- By point to point do you mean the connection (cables)?
- How are you connecting the display to the Laptop? Please include the video ports and if you are using a straight-through connection or adapters.
- Provide a picture or video of the issue.
- Does the issue persist with a different display?
Please, provide us the below reports:
DXDIAG
1. Go to Start > Run or Windows Key + R.
2. On the Run prompt, type "dxdiag" then click OK.
3. On the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click on Save All Information. Browse to a folder, type in a filename then click Save.
With the external display connected, provide the Intel* Graphics Command Center report:
>Go to the Intel Graphics Command Center
>Support
>System Diagnostic
>Generate report.
>Attach the report file.
Best regards,
Maria R.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I directly connect the laptop with an external monitor with HDMI cable, not middle equipment. the external monitor is made by Samsun.
but the word in an external monitor is not clear, and words with jagged edges, I have adjusted as folwing, no good yet,

With regards to “point to point”, I saw on the forum, someone mentioned that word unclear on the monitor is that the “point to point” setting is not done (the correct one of “point to point” maybe 1:1 Map or Dot by Dot).
Attached pls, find the mentioned report.

Dear Maria R.
The picture of the external monitor does not show display details. I change the setup for two monitors in setting→display.
The link is a Chinese forum, please refer to it.

Hello hq00,
Thank you for your response.
Please, try the following steps as a workaround:
- If possible test a different external monitor and let us know the outcome.
- Try to adjust the scaling of the display, using one of the recommended resolutions and the scale and layout recommended by Microsoft*.
- If you're using a TV, some units have the option to adjust the display settings from the TV itself, not using the computer settings, please try this (if necessary check this with Samsung).
Best regards,
Maria R.
