UHD Graphics 620 "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" Issue

My Fortnite Creative crashes randomly (usually when loading into the hub). I contacted Epic Games Support and they found in the logs that it was an issue with the graphics driver.

 

"DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" was found in the game logs, and this caused Windows to stop recognizing the drivers in the middle of the game, which resulted in the crash.

 

Running integrated graphics, Intel® UHD Graphics 620, Version: 31.0.101.2125 (latest)

I'm also having this exact same error, fortnite crashing randomly, on an intel 1065-G7 Surface laptop for business 3 with Intel Iris graphics, same version 31.0.101.2125 😞
