Unable to run second monitor at 1440p

My first monitor is 4k and my second is 2k. Whilst my first monitor will run at 2160p, the second monitor will only show options up to 1080p in windows display settings. If I duplicate the screens I can get 1440p on both and if I run the second monitor alone I can get 1440p so it shouldn't be a cable issue. Both monitors are hooked up to an HP G4 thunderbolt dock which is plugged via thunderbolt port to my Lenovo thinkpad T480, this has an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 GPU. From my research I think the laptop and dock should have no problem outputting 2160p and 1440p to each monitor so I'm unsure why, only in extend mode, the actual native resolution/active signal resolution of my second monitor isn't even being recognized. Would really appreciate any help!!

We need more information. With both monitors connected and active in Windows, please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows. When you start the utility, select Everything and then click on Scan. Once it completes the scan process, click on Next and then Save. Pick a name for the text file to create and click on Save to create it. You can then close the app. Finally, open a response post here and then, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog (below the edit box for the body of your response post), upload and attach this text file to the response post.
