Hi

i have got hp 15-bs1xx with i5 8th gen with 8gb ram and intel uhd 620 graphic card

i have got all latest drivers but i still can not enable HDR option in my display setting on my external LG oled c8 display. Even though hdr works fine In the laptop. And my external display fully supports HDR10.

u have got 2.0a HDMi high speed cable.

Make sure you have QUALITY cables. Your 2.0a cables do not mean anything.

Make sure you are on Windows 10,VERSION 1903.

Make sure you are using ONLY the drivers from HP, and not the Intel generic drivers.

 

And, contact HP for assistance, as they are solely responsible for support and warranty of your laptop.
