Upgraded my laptop from windows 8.1 to windows 10, should I upgrade my intel HD graphics family driver?

So as the title says should I update the driver? or will it bring any problems?

If I should update can someone link me to the driver I should download? thank you very much

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

At this point if your system is running fine you don't need to do more updates, basically when you upgrade to Windows 10 your drivers will be updated as well.

If you want to check for more updates you can access your system manufacturer website with your Laptop model number and from there you can update all the drivers for your system including the Intel® HD graphics driver.

If you need more help please provide us with the following information to help you locate the drivers for you.

Intel SSU (System Support Utility) you can download it at the following link: (Note – This is a new Intel tool that will eventually incorporate gathering all the data needed in one click.

Download the utility

Run the exe and select 'Scan'

Save and include as an attachment in the Intel Community Forum
