Use Intel 4600 on WiDi (Miracast) and use laptop display for NVidia Game

Hello,

Is this possible -- I want to connect main desktop to TV using Miracast (Connect in Windows 10), then have the laptop display show the World of Warcraft game from NVidia, through the laptop display, like normal.

Or will I need another monitor, or it is not even possible to do?

Thank you,

Mike

Hello MBarb41

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Regarding your inquiries, we would like to inform you that Intel has discontinued marketing and development for Intel® Wireless Display (Intel® WiDi) and Intel® Pro Wireless Display (Intel® Pro WiDi) applications.

Due to the Intel® WiDi has been discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request. Thank you for understanding.

You can verify the product's discontinuance status at the following links:

For more information on Miracast, see Using Miracast* with Windows 8.1* and Windows® 10.

Regarding the inquiry about showing the game from Nvidia, in this case, we recommend you to address this inquiry to your laptop manufacturer as they are the ones that de designed and handled all the technical details about your dual-graphics configuration, (e.g. switchable graphics, hybrid graphics, etc).

Best regards,
