Video Playback on TV is glitchy

I am running an i5-4200 with Intel Graphics 4400 on build 20.19.15.4835

Earlier this week I was running Civilization V and Rocket League fine on my Samsung TV. I had some sound issues, so I had to reinstall the driver. After reinstalling the driver, the screen flickers constantly while on Civilization V and black bars roll down my screen from top to bottom.

Any help would be appreciated. I have installed and reinstalled the driver many times. I know the problem isn't with the TV because my kids' HP (lower end) works fine on it and my computers works fine on it when I am just on the desktop.

Tigercub33: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Graphics communities. We are sorry to hear the games are not working properly.

In order to provide a better assistance, what is the model of the computer?

Did you try to install the drivers provided by the manufacturer?

Which Windows version are you using?

Additionally, there are some settings that you can try on the games for them to work properly:

I am running an Acer Aspire R7 (I believe a Model 572)

I did not install the drivers from the manufacturer as they are older than your drivers

I am running the most current version of Windows 10 (10.0.16299)

Again, the game works fine on my laptop screen. The problem occurs when I connect it an external display.

Tigercub33: Thank you for letting us that information.

The thing is that the Intel graphics drivers are generic, meaning they might or might not work with your platform. So, even if the drivers provided by Acer are older, they were design specifically to work with your computer, they were customized by them to deliver the best performance, please try VGA driver 4248:
