I have problem when playing WWZ Aftermath, on iris xe iGPU on i5 12600H.
The game was horribly glitching, i found thread from steam community saying that to fix this is issue simply just download DXVK and drag d9d11.dll and dxgi.dll, but it makes the problem worse.
The game constantly crashed and abnormal ram usage, i mean we're talking 16GB++ usage on a single game!
After doing a quick research, i found that it happened on other people too. I also watched gameplay WWZ Aftermath on iris xe a couple minutes ago, and he also get the glitching issues. if you don't know what kind of glitching I'm talking about, here's the link to his youtube: https://youtu.be/YfNmxj3loEE?si=Af3zVG5oG8bnZc-F
Can Intel staff member help me?
I'm using 32.0.101.6557 driver version, i refuse to update the driver to the latest version because there's no keynotes that saying anything related to this issues.
Thanks.

Hi RichardP,
Thank you for posting on our community. To further investigate the issue, could you please provide the following details?
- When did the issue start, and has this happened before?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes to the system recently?
- Are there any troubleshooting steps you've tried aside from the ones you mentioned above?
- Could you please provide the SSU log report so I can get an overview of the system specifications and configurations?
- What is the origin of the game, and where did you download it from?
- Have you tried updating the game to its latest version? How about reinstalling the game?
For the graphics corruption issue, you may follow this guide on how to report bugs or issues with Intel GPU- Need help? Reporting a bug or issue with Arc GPU? - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! - Intel Community. Scroll down to the section on Crashing/Freezing Issues/BSOD and follow the steps on how to generate dump, crash, and log files, then share them here.

Hi RichardP,
Thank you for answering my questions. Allow me to further investigate this matter on our end and coordinate internally. I will thoroughly look into this issue and replicate it in our lab to isolate the problem or identify any needed improvements and developments on the drivers before recommending steps to you.
Your patience is greatly appreciated, and I will get back to you as soon as possible once I review the log report. If you have any additional information or concerns in the meantime, please feel free to share them.
Best,

Hello Randy T.
Umm, the one who replied you isn't me, and also there's typo, i typed "d9d11.dll" which the correct one is "d3d11.dll"
1. I don't know exactly when this issue started, and this is my first time playing this game. But what i know is that, this problem has been exists since 2023 and haven't been fixed by intel nor the devs of the game.
2. Yes, i increased the PL1 duration time on BIOS, and i did this long time ago.
3. No, only the one from steam community that I've tried for the troubleshooting.
4. Attached.
5. Epic games store
6. There's no update because i just downloaded the game a couple minutes ago when this issues happened.
So, let me wrap this thing up.
The problem is that, the game has a flickering issues or more likely a rendering issues, like the link to the video that i gave to you before. And i tried to fix this issues by following the instructions from steam community, which involves translation layer from DirectX11 to Vulkan. But i stucked at the "Warming up shaders cache" and then eventually the game crashes, when i try to identify the problem, it looks like the game using too much RAM, and this game almost crashed my system multiple times due to massive ram usage, literally using every single available RAM.
Cheers,
RichardP.

I've seen the link you've given here. Unfortunately, there's nothing related to this issue.
It isn't flickering issues, and more likely it's a rendering issues.
Because the textures of the game wasn't loaded properly.
And cause some glitching.
Like i said earlier, this issues has exist since 2023 and haven't fixed by intel nor the devs.
And it is unlikely can be fixed by a normal person.
So please Intel staff members fix this issues, because it's been 2 years.
Thanks.

Hi @RichardP ,
Alright, I'll coordinate this internally and attempt to replicate the issue on our end. I have the necessary information, including the SSU report and the YouTube video thread you shared. I'll do my best to discuss this issue with our team. I just have a few follow-up questions and need some additional information:
- Could you share any crash logs or dump files and post them here? You can follow the guide and scroll down to the section on Crashing/Freezing Issues/BSOD.
- Did you encounter any related error messages during the game?
Additionally, could we try performing a clean installation using DDU and then test with the latest version? We updated the driver last week, if I'm not mistaken. Please provide me with an update afterward.
I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing, but I'll do my best to provide you with assistance and steps to address this once I've completed our investigation.

Thanks for the reply.
For your questions:
1. The game or windows technically haven't crashed if i play that game. But since the game uses every single of my system memory, and then the game closed automatically without crash report i guess Windows itself killed the game because there's no available memory left, and there's no crash notifications from the game so it's safe to assume that the game is killed by Windows.
2. The game never give an error message or notification.
Also, i always use DDU to clean install driver whenever there are driver updates.
Sorry I can't try the newest driver because i already uninstalled the game, maybe if your team already found the solution to fix this issue or already fixed in the newest driver update then I'll reinstall the game, because I'm still waiting for the fixes.

Hi @RichardP,
Thank you for the updates. I completely understand. We have the latest driver available, which we can use for isolation purposes. Our team will attempt to replicate the issue on our end using this new version. I will provide an update here once we have completed our investigation. In the meantime, if you remember your actual game settings or have any additional information that could help us simulate the issue with your setup, please share it with us. I will get back to you as soon as I have a progress report on this matter.

Hi @RichardP,
I'm currently investigating the issue and appreciate your patience. Could you please provide me with the actual game settings? This will help me run the game with the same settings you used during gameplay. I understand you've already uninstalled the game, but screenshots of the game settings would greatly assist me in replicating the issue on my end. Thank you.

I'm really sorry for the late reply.
Currently i haven't installed the game, yet.
But i found 3 people whose trying to play this game and get the issues and also they have the same hardware as mine.
So I'll try to contact them to help your team investigate this problem.
However, I need to answer your questions and ask you for the detailed information.
1. Sorry, but what do you mean about the Event logs? Is it from game?
2. Okay, but I'll try reach someone with the exact same hardware as mine and experiencing the same issues.
3. I don't think i can explain the steps with video/images.
4. I can't open the link, when i click it, it'll redirect me to the Intel Azure and asked me to sign in, when i try to sign in using my GitHub account it gives me this error: "User account '-@gmail.com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Intel Corporation' and cannot access the application 'e7712fb0-ac12-4860-902c-ecd7ecf16986'(F5_App_Proxy_Prod) in that tenant.".
5. Same as number 4.
6. Same as number 4.
Sorry, i can't give you the results from my own.
However I'll try my best to assist the other users to get the best results as possible.
Thanks,
Octa.

Hi @RichardP,
I understand the situation. Providing the requested details will help us check with the development team to see if a patch can be added to fix the issue. Without this information, I will have difficulty replicating the game on my end without knowing your exact gameplay settings. I will wait for your data, but I believe it's best to use your own settings rather than others, as we have the initial system setup similar to your unit. It's challenging for me to simulate without this information. In the meantime, have you tried running the game using our latest driver?
