I am trying to set a default value of scaling remotely on a set of machines, with Windows 7 Intel HD Graphics driver set the scaling as Full Screen by default, meanwhile in Windows 10 I am seeing that by default the scaling is set to Maintain Aspect Ratio.

Windows 7 Driver Version: 21.20.16.4574

Windows 10 Driver Version: 27.20.100.9171

Any idea where I can find these settings so I can replace them in many machines remotely?

Hello @Jackpotasd

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to understand better the scenario and request, could you please provide more details?

1- How many machines are you trying to configure this way?

2- Why are you trying to "set a default value of scaling remotely"? What is the purpose/goal of this configuration that you are interested in?

3- Just to make sure, are you trying to set this for both Windows* 7 and Windows* 10? Also, could you please confirm the models of the Processors/Graphics model(s)?

Hi Andrew,

1- How many machines are you trying to configure this way?
More than 100, I am installing an application on top of Win10 that is executed full screen.

2- Why are you trying to "set a default value of scaling remotely"? What is the purpose/goal of this configuration that you are interested in?
I want to use the whole screen of the device, right now on Win10 scaling is set to Maintain Aspect Ratio and I want to set Full Screen     Scaling in a script to I can apply these settings to a bunch of machines at the same time.

3- Just to make sure, are you trying to set this for both Windows* 7 and Windows* 10? Also, could you please confirm the models of the Processors/Graphics model(s)?
I am just trying to get this done on Win 10, I am adding as example Win 7 in which Full Screen Scaling is coming apparently by default, while in Win 10 default value is Maintain Aspect Ratio.
Intel HD Graphics 530

Maybe there are some registry values that I can manipulate, or some profile related approach, maybe a PS script or something.

Regards.

Hello Jackpotasd

We do apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

Regarding your inquiries on how to set Full Screen Scaling in a script (e.g.: by manipulating "registry values") or where to locate the display settings, our recommendation is to contact your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for assistance to request customization in the tool's default behavior. This is because your OEM is the best channel of support for this type of request. Thank you for your understanding.
