Windows 10 stretched still not working?!

It's been many months since Windows 10 has been released and many other graphics cards such as: AMD, Nvidia has had some kind of a driver update to allow their users to play games in 4:3 stretched.

Yet here I am with Intel HD 4000, still waiting for that day to come. I don't have a great PC as you can tell. (duh..) So I HAVE to play in 4:3. But the thing that annoys me the most is that I have to play with black bars. For months I have been playing like this and once in a while checking if there is a fix for it. But as always no luck, so here I am asking you guys, is there any fix for this? If so please tell me! I really am sick of how long I have to wait for Intel to update the driver to allow me to do that.

Hello,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

I'm not sure if you have tried this driver:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25313/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-3rd-Gen-BYT- Download Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows® 7*, 8.1*, 10 (3rd Gen & BYT)

Regard!

Ivan

I'm sorry I see above the Intel(R) HD 4000 Graphics posted by the first person who opened the thread.

Please try this one:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25541/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]

if you're not able to install the generic driver from Intel is because your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Intel recommends you contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information.

Regards!

Ivan

In this case, you will need to wait for a new driver to come up that hopefully will have the scaling option, our engineering department is aware of and they are working in a driver that can support scaling.
