arc a770安装驱动>101.5081时,无法选择原生分辨率

CPU:E5-2666 V3

显卡:Acer Arc A770 16G

主板:JGINYUE X99M-H D3

 

问题描述
我有一个显示器,分辨率是1920x1200,在安装旧版显卡驱动(version <= 101.5081)时,可以在系统中设置的最大分辨率为1920x1200,就像下面的截图一样,一切都很正常:

但当我将显卡驱动更新到101.5186或更高版本时,最大分辨率只能选择到1440x900。下面是安装新版驱动后的截图。

这个问题困扰了我很久,我试过很多办法,我确定我的安装步骤没有问题。显卡驱动在101.4xxx版本上随意切换都是没有问题的,仅当安装的版本>101.5081才会出现这个问题。我有尝试过在安全模式下使用过DDU卸载显卡驱动,然后全新安装显卡驱动,也没有解决。我甚至从Windows10更新到了Windows11,也没有解决。

CPU的超链接指向E5-2660 v3,是错误的,我在用的CPU型号是E5-2666 v3。

另外两个超链接指向的信息正确。

我不知道为什么在英特尔官网上找不到E5-2666 v3的信息,以下是我用CPU-Z查看到的信息:

然后我查看了快速入门指南,下载了“驱动程序和支持助手”,运行检测后,结果里没有明确说明不支持a770显卡,只有一些关于OEM的提示:

另外在”支持的硬件配置“里,可以看到只推荐了10代以上的英特尔酷睿处理器,但是下面也有一行提示:”Additional platforms/motherboards not listed below and with Resizable BAR / Smart Access Memory enabled may also support Intel® Arc™ A-Series graphics.“,说明还是有旧设备可以被支持的。

在快速入门指南里的其他要求:

  • Windows11 * 64-bit,using the GPT partition type  (当前版本✔)
  • Full-size PCI Express 3.0 (or newer) x16 slot  (达到要求✔)
  • CSM disabled  (已禁用CSM✔)
  • Above 4G Decoding  (已开启✔)
  • Resizable (Re-Size) BAR  (已开启✔)

• Could you please specify the brand and model of the monitor that is currently in use?

• What type of cable and video port are being utilized to connect the monitor?

• Are you using a direct connection from the computer to the monitor using a straight cable without any adapters?

• How many monitors are currently connected to the computer?

• Would it be possible to obtain the SSU logs? This will allow us to thoroughly review the system's configuration and the driver versions installed.

哦!我似乎发现问题所在,并解决了它。
 
注意看帖子最上面我发的截图,第一张是安装新版驱动之前的截图,显示器工作在1920 x 1200,59.95Hz,第二张截图是安装新版驱动之后,显示器工作在1280 x 1024,60.02Hz。60.02Hz是问题所在。我去查看了HDMI转DVI线缆的产品详情页,发现线缆最高只支持60Hz,而安装新版驱动后,刷新率变成了60.02Hz,这导致线缆无法工作在1920 x 1200分辨率上。
 
并且安装新版驱动后,在Windows的设置页面,仅有60.02Hz这一个选项,不能手动更改成59.95Hz或者60Hz。于是我在搜索引擎上找到了CRU 这款软件,可以添加自定义刷新率。在添加60Hz刷新率并重启系统后,Windows设置中就能手动选择60Hz刷新率了,并且最高分辨率也可以选择到1920 x 1200,也就是显示器的原始分辨率。
 
到这里问题就解决了。但为什么新版驱动会导致刷新率锁定在60.02Hz这个奇怪的数值上,是因为线缆的问题吗?还是因为驱动程序确实存在着隐藏的问题。

A: HDMI to DVI conversion

Q: Are you using a direct connection from the computer to the monitor using a straight cable without any adapters?
A: I used an HDMI to DVI conversion cable to connect the HDMI interface of the computer graphics card to the DVI interface of the monitor, Because I don't have a monitor with HDMI or DP interfaces

Q: How many monitors are currently connected to the computer?
A: Only one monitor is connected to the computer

Q: Would it be possible to obtain the SSU logs? This will allow us to thoroughly review the system's configuration and the driver versions installed.
A: Of course, I exported a log using SSU in the normal working driver version 31.0.101.5081, named "SSU_5081. txt", and another log using SSU in the abnormal working driver version 31.0.101.5594, named "SSU_5594. txt". These two logs have been added to the attachment for your review.

Our team conducted a thorough investigation of the issue. Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate or reproduce it on our end. After reviewing the situation, I was informed that this issue is beyond our scope to address, as we are unable to debug it to identify the root cause. 

 

Additionally, since the monitor does not have HDMI or DP ports, it is not expected to be compatible with Arc GPUs. Therefore, we recommend contacting your monitor's manufacturer for support, or you can continue with the workaround.
