Just a short question, if it's not too much effort to answer.
I've recently acquired a sparkle arc b580.
I own an older asrock motherboard(z270 extreme4) that doesn't have a bios update to support ReBar.
The cpu is an i7 7700k.
So, my question is: should the b580 output a video signal in these condition's?
After installing it and setting up the power connector, it appears to power up(fans spinning and all that) but it doesn't output video signal on either hdmi nor dp.
Thank you!
Your time and help would be most appreciated!

You do not meet ARC requirements:

The Sparkle Arc B580 should output video even without ReBar support. Since there's no signal, check these steps:
Power: Ensure all PCIe power connectors are securely attached (PSU must meet GPU requirements).
BIOS: Update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version (may add GPU compatibility).
GPU Slot: Re-seat the GPU in the PCIe x16 slot and test another slot if available.
Display: Try different cables/monitors.
iGPU: Boot using the 7700K's integrated graphics (enable iGPU in BIOS if disabled) to install Arc drivers, then switch back.
If all fail, test the GPU in another system to rule out hardware issues.

@Steve000 So, published hardware reuirements and support mean nothing?

If I boot with integrated graphics the drivers for the b580 refuse to install with an error code.
The b580 is not seen on the device manager list.
Thank you for the reply!

The Sparkle Arc B580 should generally be compatible with your ASRock Z270 Extreme4 motherboard and i7 7700k CPU. However, the lack of a BIOS update to support ReBar (Resizable BAR) might be causing some issues. For video signal the fact that the fans are spinning indicates that the GPU is receiving power, but the absence of a video signal on both HDMI and DisplayPort suggests a potential compatibility or configuration
I agree to @Steve000 double-check your BIOS settings to ensure that the primary display output is set to the PCIe slot where the B580 is installed. Sometimes, the system might default to integrated graphics. While Resizable BAR (ReBar) improves performance for Intel Arc GPUs, it’s not required for basic functionality. However, some motherboards may have compatibility issues without it. But if you still have the problem with it's output, it’s possible that the older Z270 chipset may not be fully compatible with the Arc B580, even if power is supplied

In the least, it would've liked to see it in the device manager list or receive any kind of video output just to confirm that the card is viable even if it isn't running in an optimal environment.
Anyway, I will install it ,later on this week, in a newer configuration (9800x3d and a MSI B650 mobo).
Hopefully it will run then.
I appreciate the feedback!
