artifact when entering bios

Intel Arc380 Low Profile 6GB VRAM video card. Since then, when installed on the computer, it starts with a white screen, then the part to start the BIOS appears, pressing DEL repeatedly starts to give problems if the BIOS is started. In this case, the computer starts the system normally. Could anyone know what it could be? this only happens when I enter my computer's bios.

Hello lucasgomes,

To assist you effectively and resolve your issue, I need some additional information. Kindly provide answers to the following questions:

  • What is the model of your motherboard and the current BIOS version? This can help determine compatibility issues.
  •  Did you have a different GPU installed before the Intel Arc380? If so, did you uninstall the previous GPU drivers before installing the new card?
  • Have you tried resetting the BIOS to default settings? Sometimes custom settings can cause conflicts with new hardware
  • What is the wattage and model of your power supply unit (PSU)? Insufficient power can cause issues with new hardware.
  • How is your monitor connected to the GPU (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.)? Have you tried different ports or cables?
  • Have you installed the latest drivers for the Intel Arc380 from Intel’s official website? Outdated or incorrect drivers can cause display issues.

These will help me narrow down the potential causes of the issue and guide you towards a solution.

Hello lucasgomes,

For isolation purposes, could you please try using a different monitor and let me know if the issue still persists? If the problem does not appear when using a different monitor, it may indicate a hardware issue with your current monitor, especially since you are using all the latest drivers and firmware.

Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

@lucasgomes

  I  checked the technical specs of the motherboard, I found that 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 is supported. But Intel Arc A380
Low Profile 6GB   PCI® Express 4.0 x8, Gpu was released in 2023, But the processor is outdated, and Bios is not updated in Asrock. Gpu supported bios in your MB.

So if possible change  MB to latest with the Latest processor, Make  intel GPU supported in the new MB

Thanking you
