intel graphics accelerator driver for windows 7 stopped responding

Hello i own an HP 6730b laptop and i was running Left 4 dead 2 fine yesterday, when i tried getting into a game today i got this error and my computer froze up. I have tried updating the driver and updating microsoft silverlight what else can i do? I have added my dxdiag info

Hello Seanie000, this behavior was reported a few months ago; please check this URL for additional information. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009483.htm Graphics Drivers — Errors Reported By Microsoft* Please follow the solutions given on that page.

If you have an OEM system, I would recommend installing the graphics driver they provided, since our drivers are generic and sometimes the OEM system does not allow the installation of them.

You can also try doing a system restore on your computer to the last working state.

Hi Sarah, as i said in my first post i have tried updating the driver and still nothing, is there no other option then to do a system restore? What is the cause of this problem?

Sean, you can try to install our drivers, but it will be necessary to force the installation by performing manual procedure; however I cannot assure you they are going to work as expected.
