Hi huxinmiao,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. Intel's graphics software tools have limited capability for displaying detailed GOP (Graphics Output Protocol) information:
Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC)
- Basic display info only: Shows resolution, refresh rate, and connected monitors
- No detailed GOP data: Doesn't provide comprehensive GOP/UEFI graphics information
- Focus on user settings: Primarily designed for gaming and display configuration
Intel Graphics Software Limitations
- No firmware access: Cannot read GOP ROM, VBIOS, or UEFI-level data
- OS-level only: Limited to post-boot graphics information
- No pre-boot data: Cannot show boot graphics or GOP protocol details
- Basic reporting: Only displays active driver and display status
- Limited diagnostics: Lacks deep hardware analysis capabilities
For more comprehensive information, Intel provides:
- Intel System Support Utility (Intel SSU): More detailed system and graphics firmware information
- Intel Processor Identification Utility: Hardware specifications including integrated graphics details
- System BIOS/UEFI interface: Direct access to GOP settings and configuration
Use Intel's diagnostic utilities (Intel SSU) combined with your system BIOS/UEFI settings for GOP-related information. The Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) is intentionally limited to user-friendly display management rather than low-level firmware analysis.
GOP information is primarily managed at the firmware level, which is outside the scope of Intel's consumer graphics software.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Archie D.
