assafroth74: We will do our best to try to fix this problem.

In order to provide the most accurate assistance, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:

Please provide a detailed description of the connection between the NUC, the receiver and the projector and which video ports are you using to connect all the parts.

Did the NUC work fine before using those same components?

Based on the specifications of the projector, we can confirm that it has different HDMI ports, did you test all the ports from the projector?

Do you have the option to use a different HDMI cable?

According to the information you gave us you are using Edge, could you please try a different browser like Chrome or Mozilla?

For testing purposes, please use the NUC without the projector and the receiver, try to connect it directly to a TV or monitor in order to confirm if this issue could be related to a compatibility problem.

You mentioned the BIOS and drivers are up to date, just to confirm, on the following link you will find the instructions of how to do a BIOS update to the latest version 0067 using the F7 method and the the .BIO file needed to do it:

Also, please try to install the Intel® graphics driver version 24.20.100.6194:

If the problem persists we can also try to install Intel® graphics driver version 24.20.100.6229:

Any questions, please let me know.

The nuc is completely new, connected to receiver with hdmi 2.0 cables 4k(60Hz). I also tried 4

different 4k cables (the receiver has 3 hdcp 2.2 port, it connected to

port 1)

from the receiver it connected to projector with hdmi 2.0 cables for

4k(60Hz)I also tried different 4k cables-short, long. the projector has

only one input for hdcp 2.2 so I connect it to this port.

The nuc is working ok when connecting strait to hd tv (not 4k), but not when

the receiver involved its flickering much.

When connecting it strait to projector there is less flickering but still

there is some and it can drop screen-then I have to restart.

In chrome browser it can happen but much less then Netflix app or Microsoft

edge.

YouTube and other website is always working perfect(hd,4k,hdr….)

I have also tested a 6th gen nuc from friend and it works fine.

I also have a 10 year old pc that work perfect with projector and receiver (win

7 connected the same way hdmi….)

I spent many hours and even thought changing the receiver but I think It

will not change anything because it happens without it but less.

What about all the people who complained in this post?

I realize that no one wrote lately and Intel didn't solve it

If I change from NUC7i5BNH to NUC7i7BNH will it solve it?

thank you

Please fully describe what you mean by 'flickering'. Unfortunately, folks are using this word interchangably to describe a number of different phenomena.

So you are NOT talking about a constant flickering or tearing in the image; you are talking about a few screen flashes during (and only during) specific events. Is this the screen going black for a moment and then recovering? Does this repeat or just happen once at these events (i.e. going into or coming out of the mode that Netflix is requesting)? When going into this mode, is the HDR staying engaged or is it resetting to SDR?

I think any projector is very sensitive to" lost signal", I mean it takes time for the picture to come back not like in TV ( but in my case when hdr is on- it even doesn't come back, when its off its better but still can drop black screen)

I don't think it is constant flickering, but it can come back after one min and drop black screen after a second and come back after 5 min or not, and yes it happen mostly when going in\out to netfix by app or browser or amazon prime video.

After installing gfx 6229, when connecting directly to projector and hdr is off it flash when going in and when going out of netflix

for you question HDR staying engaged all the time it doesn't reset by itself.

I could send a video if you give me an e-mail,

can someone from technical department can go live with teamviewer and check?

thank you

assafroth74: We are sorry to hear the issue persists.

For testing purposes, please install the graphics driver from the 6th generation NUC on the 7th generation NUC to confirm if the issue gets fixed that way. If the problem persists, then please provide the model of the 6th generation NUC and the graphics driver version installed on it.

Additionally, we can always test and install the following HEVC codec from Microsoft's web site:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/hevc-video-extensions-from-device-manufacturer/9n4wgh0z6vhq%3Factivetab%3Dpivot:overviewtab https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/hevc-video-extensions-from-device-manufacturer/9n4wgh0z6vhq?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Any questions, please let me know.
