Gracias

Intel provides no support for any of its discontinued products or any discontinued Windows versions. Specifically, starting with the 7th generation processors, no support is provided for Windows 8.1 or any previous Windows version. No support means, with only a few exceptions, no drivers are made available for download. Bottom line, for 8th gen processors, drivers are only available for Windows 10 and Windows 11. You should have upgraded to Windows 10 while it was still free to do so.

P.S. Now, my opinion: It is clear to me that it is not Intel buying into the Microsoft story nor Microsoft buying into the Intel story. Both are in fact the case; they both rationalize the other's discontinuations as benefits to the reduction of their hardware and software support costs. Stepping back, it is really an industry phenomenon - and you need to take part of the blame. Their marketing departments tested the waters, saw what they could get away with, and went for it. Everyone had their chance to push back and nowhere near enough did. What I find humorous is the fact that AMD sat back quietly and let Intel and Microsoft and others take all the blame - but they are just as guilty and just as slimy.

Of course AMD too is guilty and too google and every big company involved in computer business. All them are a big mafia. The software forces us to buy new hardware and the hardware force us to buy new software. I have many computers and some of them are very old and i have them working with xp, win 7 and win 8.1, for my opinion this operating system are the most stable of microsoft. Windows 10 is designed for home users. If you are expert you know that many times we need change some configutation of operating system and win 10 obstructs more and more that freedom becuase many of the new users are from home and microsoft hide many things for avoid that inexpert users touch something that cause failures. Also microsft is more focus in ease to the user the work with the computer with cortana and things of that kind, now i am remembering when office had a clip for help you. When you work professionally you don't need all that kind of things, in fact, they don't leave you work properly, for that reason i don't need win 10 or 11, i prefer previous versions and for that i would like that intel, amd, etc had in its web site the drivers for all version or at least win 8.1. I think for those big companies would not be so expensive have in its web site the drivers. But this is just a comment becuase i know that the world of consumerism work that way.
