Hello cl0001,

Thank you for posting on the Intel ® communities.

I would like to gather some information, first I would like to know where you are changing the color format, also let me know the type of connection you are using between your system and the monitor.

To better assist you with your request, I will need to check some information about your computer. Please follow these steps:

1. In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.

2. In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.

3. Click on Save All Information (save it in your desktop).

4. Attach the report to this thread.

Make sure that when you change the color format you restart your computer and then check again to see if the change is reflected.

Hi DavidV_Intel,

I use HDMI between my NUC8i7 and my TV.

I don’t know where change the color format but I have an option to enable in Intel Graphics settings, YCbCr as you can see on the screenshot of my first message.

And please find in this post the screenshot of DxDiag.

Christophe

Hello cl0001,

Thank you for your response.

In this case, there is no way to manually change from RGB to YCBCR, it is detected automatically if both the unit and the display support it. Check with the manufacturer of the monitor/TV to see if the device supports YCBCR.

Ok thanks for your time David and your answer.

The TV supports YCBCR, my last PC with Nvidia card graphics displayed it.

Thanks for your help and support,

Christophe

Hello cl0001,

Thank you for your response.

What is the model of display you are using? Also, what HDMI cable are you using? Is it 2.0 or is it 1.4?

Let me know so we can look into this further.

Hi DavidV_Intel,

all cable HDMI that I use are 2.0

I didn’t have problem to display in YCBCR with my last computer, my NUC can’t display it and apparently i’m not alone, I see several forums where users wrote that they have the same issue.

Hello cl0001,

Thank you for your response.

In order to look more into this, I will need the complete model of Intel ® NUC you have as well as the model of the cable in question and the display that you are using. Please provide them so I can research about this.
