Hi, Bandit8623.
Thank you for posting in our Community and for providing the details and SSU report. I understand that you're experiencing an issue with Auto HDR in Valorant when using your A770, where the colors appear inverted. It’s good that you’ve identified that turning off Auto HDR resolves the issue. The absence of the hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling option may be due to a driver-related or hardware compatibility issue. The Intel Arc A770 GPU currently does not support all the features available on the B580. This feature is not yet supported by the latest Intel DCH drivers for both Integrated Graphics and Intel® Arc™ Graphics cards.
Just to clarify, have you experienced any issues when Auto HDR is enabled? If so, have you seen any error messages? Also, have you noticed any graphics artifacts or graphics corruption like that? Additionally, could you please provide CapFrameX data for this game? This will help us analyze performance metrics in more detail and pinpoint any potential issues (like stuttering, or poor FPS performance). If possible, please share a CapFrameX file that captures at least 5 minutes of gameplay.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

I have no error messages, just that the game like the picture above is all inverted. i dont have any fps issues. only problem game it seems is valorant. i can leave auto hdr on for cs2.
I honestly havent tried playing the game because it looks so bad its unplayable. see below the color is all off on top pic with auto hdr on. bottom pic looks fine but thats with auto hdr off
the game used to work fine with auto hdr enabled, but im not sure whaat driver this changed. since its not an fps issue does getting capframe info help?
thanks

Hi, Bandit8623.
Thank you for the clarification. Since the issue seems to be specific to the color inversion in Valorant with Auto HDR enabled, and not related to FPS, CapFrameX data may not be necessary in this case, as it mainly helps diagnose performance issues. Have you tried disabling Auto HDR specifically for Valorant and re-enabling it for other games like CS2, as you mentioned that it works fine for CS2?
Please share your current graphic quality settings in Valorant (Low, Medium, High, Ultra), and attempt adjusting these settings to see if there are any enhancements. Could you please tell us the specs, brand, and model of your monitor?.
Additionally, I'm a bit confused, was the game working fine before?
Let me know if you'd like assistance with any of these steps
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

yes the game still works fine non hdr. but wanted to try auto hdr again as it had worked fine in the past. so this is a newer issue.
so to clarify the game used to work with auto hdr now this last week when i tried to use it its all off color. Also auto hjdr works on another game CS2. i dont play many other games so i havent tried others.
thanks

Hi, Bandit8623.
Thank you for providing the video and the detailed information about your setup. I see that you're experiencing issues with Auto HDR in one of your games, while it works fine in another game like CS2. Since this issue is new and Auto HDR used to work fine in the past, could you please try to roll back the driver version you used before the issue happened? This will help us to isolate the issue further. You can use any previous or old driver version and see if the issue still happens.
Please let me know the exact graphics driver versions you used to fix the issue.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Bandit8623.
Great to hear that the driver is working well for you and that it resolved the flickering issue with VRR enabled. I will need to do further research on this matter and post the response on this thread once available.

Hello, Bandit8623.
Thank you for your patience while I investigate the issue. I tried to replicate the problem using one of our LG monitors by disabling and enabling HDR with graphics driver versions 32.0.101.6557 and 32.0.101.6559 and applied the same game settings you provided.
However, I couldn't reproduce the issue on my end. To help further isolate the problem, could you please let me know which cable you are currently using? If possible, I recommend trying a different cable to see if that resolves the issue.
Let me know how it goes, and if the problem persists.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Bandit8623.
Thank you for the update. Since you're using the DP cable that came with the LG monitor and everything seems to be fine with CS2, it’s possible that the issue might be specific to how Valorant interacts with your current driver. Could you please share the exact make and model of the DisplayPort cable that you're using? Also, as I previously mentioned, If possible, please try a different cable to see if that resolves the issue.
Yes, it’s great that you’re going to try the newest Intel driver that was released yesterday, this might help resolve any potential compatibility issues. Please keep me posted on how it goes after updating the driver, and if the problem persists, we can explore other troubleshooting steps.
Best regards,
Von M.

latest driver after ddu seems to be working. no issues so far.
as for cable it came with my lg monitor so i doubt i could tell you. issues have followed drivers. so i dont think its a physical(cable) issue.

Hello, Bandit8623.
Great to hear that the latest driver after using DDU seems to be working and that there are no issues so far. Thank you for clarifying about the cable. Since the issues have been following the driver updates, it makes sense that it's more likely related to the driver rather than a physical issue with the cable.
Additionally, I would like to know if the issue (Auto HRD when running Valorant) is still the same after the latest driver update and DDU.
Best regards,
Von M.
