Hello. I have asked about Tekken 8 performance several times before, but today is not a performance inquiry.
I found out that the game is running at the intended performance.
I have three inquiries.
1. After reinstalling the driver (using DDU), I can see high CPU usage on the main screen when I enter Tekken 8.
At first, I thought it was generating shader cache. However, it doesn't seem to be. Shader cache is generated within 1 minute at the latest. It takes a very long time.
When I start the game, it's fine. It's difficult to start the game due to high CPU and GPU usage. This problem only occurs once.
2. There is an HDR problem. I'm using the LS28AG700N monitor.
The color is abnormal. I tried using the windows hdr calibration app, but it didn't help.
please check the attached image.
3. Tekken 8 is not in the games list in Arc Control

Hello GTX,
I wanted to inform you that we conducted an investigation, and based on our findings, the issue is not related to the driver. The default in-game HDR settings (brightness, saturation, etc.) are not optimized for Intel. As a workaround, we recommend decreasing the brightness and increasing the saturation.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Best regards,

Hi GTX,
Thank you for posting in the communities!
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your system. Please submit the following information so that we can better assist you and find the most appropriate solutions.
- During high CPU and GPU usage, do you encounter any overheating?
- Do you encounter this high CPU and GPU usage on high settings, mid settings, or low settings?
- Are you playing this game on Steam? or other game distribution services?
- Does the issue still happen even on older driver versions?
- During High CPU and GPU usage, do you encounter any FPS drops? what FPS are you receiving while gaming?
You can also try out the troubleshooting on the link provided: How do I Correct a Drop on FPS (Frames Per Second) and High CPU Usage... (intel.com)

Hello, I am glad that the 5989 version driver has been released before I tried it.
I completely uninstalled the driver using DDU in safe mode and reinstalled it.
I am having the same issue with the 5989, 5972, and 5768 drivers.
I am using a power meter called Inspector 2 and regardless of the settings, the game's main screen has very high CPU usage, heat, and power consumption. I timed it with a stopwatch. It is over 1 minute and 30 seconds.
I think it is likely that the shader cache is being generated for a long time.
However, it only occurs once after reinstalling the driver and does not occur after playing the game, so it is not a critical issue.
Tekken 8 for PC is only available on Steam.
I hope the above issue will be fixed, but please also pay attention to the HDR and Arc Control issues. Thank you.

Hello GTX,
Thank you for sharing this information.
Earl is currently away so I'll be taking over the thread in the meantime.
I would like to ask for more information for me to properly investigate the issue you are having. Since you mentioned that you are experiencing high temperatures, please run Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility to perform CPU stress test and provide us the results.
Additionally, please take a screenshot of the GPU performance on the Intel Arc Control under the Performance tab.
You may also check out this link for more troubleshooting steps - Overheating Symptoms and Troubleshooting for Intel® Boxed Processors
I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi. I will provide screenshots of the game main screen issue and Arc Control performance tab when the drivers are released after 101.5989.
Please hold off until then.
Instead, please focus on other issues. Thank you.
IXTU log information is attached.

Hi GTX,
Thank you for providing the requested information. I would like to also clarify some things for me to properly investigate.
1) What do you mean when you say that it is difficult to start a game, does it mean to start a match? What exactly is happening (ex. game is unresponsive? low fps, etc.)? If possible, please get a video (via Arc Control) of what is happening.
2) Did this happen out of the box or just happening now? Any changes to the system like additional hardware installed, if there is, what are those?
3) Do older drivers work better before and issue only happened with more recent drivers?
I'll be looking forward to your response!
Best regards,

Hello. The 101.6077 driver was updated and tested today.
Don't worry. I've attached two video links and XTU log information.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuKteTgnRRg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7KfRfSTM1w
The videos are the same content, but one was taken using Arc Control Studio Capture and the other was taken using a smartphone.
You can see that the screen stutters and the graphic settings are difficult due to the high CPU usage from the game's intro to the main screen.
I spent all my time due to unexpected pop-ups and option selection mistakes before entering the main screen, but the CPU usage did not drop for about 1 minute and 30 seconds.
The CPU usage dropped only after entering the practice mode. (If I didn't spend time setting the graphic options, etc., the high usage occurred even in the practice mode.)
After experiencing the problem once, there is no problem even if I restart the game.
What is the reason? It is an inconvenience that I experienced once after reinstalling the driver, but I hope the problem is fixed.
In addition, the new 101.6077 driver did not solve the HDR problem and the ArcControl game library.

Hello. Have you confirmed that there is an issue with HDR?
I personally investigated and tested it, and it is true that the HDR option in the game is not applied.
When I enable HDR on GeForce, it automatically switches to full screen and HDR works well.
When I enable HDR in windowed mode and borderless mode on A770, it does not switch to full screen.
It is the same even if I set it to full screen arbitrarily and enable HDR.
If it is a game error or optimization problem, I have no choice but to wait for the Tekken 8 developers to fix it.
Thank you.

Hello GTX,
Thank you for your response. Based on our investigation, the issue appears to be related to the game itself. I recommend reaching out to the game developer for further assistance, as they will be best equipped to address this matter.
In the meantime, adjusting the HDR settings to match your monitor's specifications seems to be an effective workaround.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Okay, thanks for the confirmation. I've also been continuously asking for HDR fixes and optimization on the Q&A board on the Tekken 8 website. I'll wait for the results.
