Team,
I have tried every launch option, reinstalling a few times and verifying file integrity. This game tries to load and stops. I know its an older dx9 game but the community is friendly and I would like to play again.
I have the Acer 770 16 gig.
Thanks in advance

Hello OcWebb,
Thank you for posting in our communities.
Please generate an SSU report to help me further analyze important details on your system, such as the OS build number, graphics driver version, etc. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Please send us the generated SSU.txt file.
Furthermore, please also provide the following additional information, as this will greatly help us to isolate the issue:
- Are there any error messages when the game crashes or stops?
- What distribution platform are you playing this game on (Steam, Epic Games, etc.)? This is to ensure we have the exact game you are playing in case we might replicate the issue in our lab.
- Was the game updated to the latest version? Since updating the games fixes bugs.
- Was this game working fine before? If yes, have you made any changes prior to the issue?
- What is the brand and model of your power supply? This is to check if your PSU meets the Arc graphics requirements.
We look forward to your response!
Best regards,
Carmona A.

Hi Ocwebb,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Please install the latest version of our graphics driver, 32.0.101.5768 and check if the issue persists.
You have mentioned that you tried different launch options. Kindly provide more specifics on this, so we can further check this in case we would need to reproduce the issue.
Best Regards,
Alfred S

Alfred,
Thank you for your response. I did install the latest driver, but the 32bit version still won't launch the game.
If I launch the 64 bit exe it will fully launch and run normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\America's Army\AAPG\Binaries\Win64
This version don't have the same servers and is not used for some reason.
Launch codes for this game are not very public. This game runs on the unreal 3 engine and supports Directx 9.
Strangely if I force it to dx11 it trys real hard to load. Fans kick in main screen starts to load then hangs.
Example of Launch Options: -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d9 -lowmemory -novsync -high
This was in my clipboard after trying the launch the game.
Fatal error!

Hi @OcWebb ,
I've tried this game and it works without any issues (no launch options used). See screenshot in attachments.
So please try the following:
1. Use DDU Tool to do clean uninstall of Intel graphics driver.
2. Install the latest 32.0.101.5971 driver (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html)
3. Try disabling integrated graphics in BIOS and uninstalling AMD graphics drivers.

Team,
After trying just about everything. I reinstalled all C++ packages and it fixed my issue.
https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/microsoft_visual_c_2010_redistributable_package.html
Not sure if I can link this here but it was very handy. All the packages you need for these older games.
Thanks for all your help

Chin,
I installed all of them. There is a pack that installs them all at once.
