I just bought an Arc 750 and upon plugging in the HDMI it shows only a black screen with the dash, the video debug LED on my motherboard turns on, and no proceeds to the system boot. That happens after the BIOS update to the latest version with re-BAR support. In the previous BIOS version, it worked, but with freezes during games. Now re-BAR is on, CSM or Legacy is disabled, UEFI mode is enabled. The video card is plugged into HDMI.

Hello Jammer84,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
Please respond to the following questions so that we can better understand the situation:
- Is the graphics card an Intel Branded Card or is it from another brand? This will help us to provide you with some troubleshooting steps.
- For clarification, the issue that you have is that your computer does not boot, and you are not able to access the Operating System at all, is that correct?
- What is the motherboard make, model, and BIOS version?
- What is the processor's make and model?
Your system information will help us to check the compatibility and try to find the root of the issue.
Regards,
Andres P.

Hello, Andres.
The graphics card is a genuine Intel Arc a750 p/n 21P02J00BA, when I use only a750 as a main graphic card the system does not boot at all, I can see only a black screen and the white dash in the middle of the display. Full system information is in the file attached to this post, collected by the Intel System Support Utility. The only way to boot into the OS, is by plugging an additional video cable into the integrated graphics port and changing the video adapter to integrated in BIOS settings. Otherwise, BIOS can't initialize a750 and the debugging LED light is on VGA error.

The graphic card is a Branded Intel Card P\N 21P02J00BA
Yes, I'm not able to access the Operating System using PCI Express Graphics card, the OS starts booting only using Integrated Graphics, PEG Card not initializing by UEFI BIOS for some reason. After the boot on Integrated Graphics, PEG card starts working.

Hello Jammer84,
Thank you for your response and for all the information provided, it helped me a lot.
Please answer the following question before we proceed with the next steps:
- What is the power supply make and model?
- Did you make sure the graphics card is properly seated with the locking latch properly clicked in?
- Did you make sure the power connectors are properly connected to the power supply and to the graphics card? Remember the PCIe power connectors 1x8-pin and 1x6-pin must be connected.

Power supply is 600W Chieftec as I remember. Everything is connected and property seated, of course. Video card is working actually, but only when you loading from Integrated Graphics, otherwise, while trying loading with PCiE card it shows black screen with white dash.

Hello Jammer84,
Thank you for your response and for keeping me informed.
I understand that your monitor does not have DisplayPort, by any chance do you have another monitor or TV with DisplayPort you can test? If you do not have one, let me know.
Were you able to test the graphics card on another compatible system?
Please keep me informed of the results.

Andres, could you tell me, what is the difference, how is it plugged, into HDMI or DP if BIOS can't initialize the card on boot?

Hello Jammer84,
The reason for testing the DisplayPort is to know if it is a HDMI port issue.
The reason to test the graphics card in another system is to know if there is a compatibility issue.
Let me know if you are able to complete these steps.
