Arc dev team should establish higher self-demanding standards

Recently on intel's official channels or other reviewers' channels, you guys kept advertising that the A750 (after the recent discount announcement) has much better performance/cost value than an RTX3060.

I really don't like the way you presented it like a skin-deep TV commercial.

As we all know the A750/770 has a TDP of 225W which should be positioned against RTX3070 (220W reference TDP), especially considering the ACM-G10 chips are manufactured with TSMC 6nm process, which is much better than the Samsung 8nm process for the Nvidia's GA10x Ampere series. Technically, comparing the Arc A7 with RTX3070, which has slightly lower TDP and much worse fabrication process, is already unfair for the latter.

If you guys always aim for beating RTX3060 only, I feel ashamed of you. The first-gen Arc has the hardware that should be competitive to RTX3070 at least. It's only the premature driver that hinders its performance so much. You guy shouldn't always focus on performance per dollar because you just can price the product so low in order to gain market share. Why can't you guys be dignified and confront the GPU war with the technical criteria of "performance per watt" ??

Please see the attached screenshots. The synthetic benchmark results have clearly shown that the Arc GPU indeed has the potential of competing against an RTX3070. However, in real-world games, you can see that kind of performance in almost none of the cases.

As title, I hope you guys can do better and don't let us down.

Recently there are quite a few Arc GPU re-reviews appearing online because of the A750 price cut. All of them clearly reveal a huge problem. Because you positioned the A750 to compete against the RTX3060, the performance per watt is terribly defeated since the RTX3060 has a TBP of only 170W while the A750 has a TBP of 225W.

Stop positioning your opponent as the RTX3060. You know, Weight classes are used in a variety of sports, especially combat sports. If you are over-weighted while entering a competition of a certain weight class, you will be disqualified.
