Hi The_Flash,
Thank you for posting in the communities!
I was able to review the issue you're having; you can try following these steps to try and resolve this issue:
Get the latest Windows* update:
- Open the Windows Start Menu (button with the Windows logo).
- Then click Settings (button with the gear symbol).
- Next, click Update & Security.
- Then select Install Now or Check for Updates.
- Next, wait for the update to be installed.
- Finally, click Restart now after the update is installed.
Perform Graphics Driver Clean Installation:
- Download and install the latest Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics driver.
- Follow the Execute a Clean Installation During Driver Installation steps from the article Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows*.

- Is the overlay working fine before?
- What are the changes on the system before you encounter the issue?
Let me know if there will be changes on the issue after trying the troubleshooting.

@Earl_Inte I'm experiencing the same issue on my end. I followed the steps you provided, but the problem still persists. It seems to have started after the latest Intel driver update (32.0.101.6557). However, when I install the previous driver (32.0.101.6314), the overlay does show up.
