Constant Crashing with entirely new build including Intel ARC B580

Hey all, I recently got a brand new build up and running for my birthday but I have run into problems with every single game I've played on it so far either crashing or bluescreening the entire computer. And on Escape from Tarkov in particular, I am having issues with stuttering, but only while shooting (I previously had problems running around as well on high settings, but after lowing to medium there were no longer any issues) (otherwise im at 80-120+ fps consistantly while running around, looting, etc). The crashes are all seemingly random and unable to be easily replicated and has happened in every single game that I have tried to play since getting this PC up and running.

Here are the specs:

Processor: 12th Gen Intel I7
Graphics Card: Intel Arc B580 (Sparkle)

Mobo: Asus TUF Z790 Gaming Plus Wifi 7

Ram: 64gb of DDR5 6400 mhz

Storage: 1tb ssd

Here's a list of games that I've had issues with so far:
League of Legends

Escape from Tarkov

Rimworld
Last Epoch

Mind over Magic

I have updated all my drivers, made sure windows is as up to date as possible (I'm having issues with one final download), as well as made sure to look into solutions as much as possible on my own as well, however I keep running into issues when trying to game, in particular when trying to play Unity based games, however this issue does not seem to be exclusive to Unity based games. This is most definitely not a performance, utilization, or temperature issues as I have tested each of these extensively.

Hi PaidOnce,

Thank you for posting in the communities!

I'm sorry to learn that you are experiencing issues with your system. To better assist you and determine the most appropriate resolution, could you please provide the needed details listed below:

  • Is the game (Escape from Tarkov) working fine before?
  • What digital gaming platform did you download these games?
  • Can you provide us with the settings that you use while playing it for us to try and replicate the issue on our end.
  • Are you using "intel default settings" on your BIOS?

Best regards,

I am experiencing this issue on ALL games that I have tested so far, not just Escape from Tarkov. (This is a brand new build, so there was never a point where everything was working fine, other than in my previous build)

I downloaded all of the games via steam, leagueoflegends.com, and escapefromtarkov.com.

If necessary I can take screen shots of all of my settings, but i have been playing around with settings for the past several days and have had issues regardless of which settings I am on.

I do not believe that I have changed any of the default intel settings in my bios, however like I said I can provide screenshots or pictures of all settings on an as needed basis.

I have figured out the problem, it was a corrupted ram stick, I used a program called AIDA64 to test all my components one at a time, took one of the ram sticks out after seeing an error, and had everything work great.

Hi PaidOnce,

Thank you for sharing this update with us.

I'm happy to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by replacing the bad RAM stick.

Since the issue is now resolved, I will no longer monitor this thread.

If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,
