Good morning, I'm David and I'm glad to be able to send suggestions or speak for internal Intel driver developers.
I'm going to talk very seriously with you and see if we can reach an agreement, okay, and I hope so. As you know, the Intel Arc A770 16 LE has a little cooling, well, since the drivers have improved the power, temperature, and other things, we've reached 75 degrees, okay. , but this does not stop here, I would like that temperature to be lower, for example if the Intel Arc B580 is limited to 190 watts or 100 watts, I would like the Intel The same thing will happen with Arc A770 but in video games. That is, if the Intel ARC A770 consumes 190 to 193 watts or whatever you want to call it, let's see if it can do the same but similar to the Intel Arc B580 only in demanding video games.
I'll give you an example if the Intel ARC A770 consumes 193 watts in demanding games, for example RDR2 or other games, and reaches 75 degrees. Let's see if it can be less than 160, 165 watts only in games, that is, if 170 or 175 watts and it reaches temperature 65 to 68 or 69 degrees with a peak of 70, that's enough for me, because the game, for example, RDR2 and other games, It is not necessary to consume 193 or 190 watts, it is not necessary, one thing is to play and one thing is to do remoteness, that is to say play, browse, etc., there is whether it should consume that, but only play and listen to music through a browser that consumes the Intel GPU ARC A770 in RDR2 and other games 170 and 175 watts, just listen to music and play RDR2, 100% sure that we will reach 68 to 70 degrees 1440p sure 100% sure that doesn't fail. If you do it like the Intel Arc B580 similar, the engineers, users, technical support, etc. will be satisfied, why do I say that? Because the Intel Arc A770 16GB LE is a dual graphics card, it has two fans and a small cooling unit, as that graphics card is not capable of cooling well because it requires a small modification of drivers, I repeat maintaining 2350 or 2400 MHz, I repeat maintaining Intel Arc A770 16GB LE 190 watts or consumption is okay, but in demanding video games with 170 and 175 watts consumed we would reach 68 and 70 degrees Celsius playing 1440p, and when it goes to 1080p it should be less than 160 or 165 watts, I repeat maintaining 190 watts, because in order for it to consume the 190 watts it has to do double work, double work I mean play, listen to music and other things, there is yes it must consume approximate 189 and 190 watts, I hope you understand, and I will attach the screenshots I am referring to And the comparison, is that if you do it like this, it's bad, it's bad, I mean perfect and it guarantees other users and graphics and you and also engineers that you are not going to have a problem with high temperatures and it will give more useful life to the graphics.
Then, since the Intel Arc A770 is 10% faster or more performant than the RTX 3060, I would like it to be also faster than an RTX 3060 Ti and bringing RTX 4060 closer in some games that would be drivers and energy improvements, etc.
