Since the beginning of last year it has been said that support is coming. Now, after 13 months, I'm wondering how and when and whether support should come for these GPUs at all? If not, and not in the near future, I see no reason to continue using my GPU. Since I'm actually very happy with the Intel Arc, I would be happy if this was planned for the *NEAR* future.

Hello 2MeterPeter,
Just to make sure we are on the same page, are you looking for technical support with your Intel Arc? If you are, kindly please let us know the model and the issue that you are experiencing so we can figure out the correct resolution. If you are reporting for several GPU's kindly please list them out so we can assist you accordingly as well.

No he is not asking any of this, how is it Intel reps cannot read and understand basic English?
He is very clearly pointing out the fact that Intel ARC does NOT support VR headsets like since launch, but Intel has promised that in the near future they will bring VR support to Arc like Oculus Rift
We are in the near Future and Intel has not delivered on this so he is now thinking of switching to AMD or Nvidia.
There is noway you guys are humans this has got to be bots posting here.
And if so then it's got to be an absolute miracle that Intel functions as a company.
I know it's easier to just copy and paste random responses, maybe Intel is understaffed I mean they got rid of thousands of workers recently but reps really need to start doing the absolute BASICS like reading the OP and understanding what the OP is posting.

Hello @2MeterPeter ,
On your question about VR support: the only confirmation I can provide is that Intel Arc graphics support for VR headsets continues to evolve as we ramp our products and add updates to our software stack. I do apologize in advance because I know this is not the answer you are looking for but at the moment it is the only status update available.
@Samuel00000 I hear you. Your constructive and respectful feedback is a key element for us to drive improvements in all fronts so thank you. We're working internally on improving the quality of the support provided in Communities. Rest assured we do not use bots and our support staff is constantly undergoing performance reviews thus you can expect changes as we speak.
Best Regards,
Ronald M.

Hello INTEL,
Please stop replying with "... Intel Arc graphics support for VR headsets continues to evolve..."
It is 2024 and you still have not done anything for VR.
My 8 year old GPU works on my other PC.
Here I have a 13th i7 with 64G RAM and a A750 and still not working in VR.
This is unacceptable.
Please reply back with a LEGIT response.
If you plan on playing in the GPU arena and the other big boys you have to get this working.
I'm giving you a month if nothing then I switch and will never purchase an INTEL GPU.

I've already changed my GPU. So 2 weeks after my original post in this thread. If you want to change, I can recommend the RX 7600XT.This is similar to the Arc 770 in terms of performance, specs and price, or you can buy an rx7600 which is similar to the Arc 750. VR works with them and everything is fine.

Any AMD or Nvidia GPU will be better than an Intel ARC GPU that exists now or in the future.
Intel has made me hate their products after buying a NUC with a **bleep** A770 that doesn't work with the Oculus Quest.
I'm looking forward to throwing away the NUC 12 Enthusiast and buying another ASUS NUC with AMD and Nvidia components but never again Intel products.

hi there,
it is already November 22, 2024 and the intel ARc a770 card still suffers from many flaws, it is not compatible with many things, I just spent $ 550 on a Quest 3 headset and unfortunately I cannot do anything with that headset, because many things are incompatible, I cannot play msfs2020 in VR mode because it is not compatible at all, I cannot open quest link because it is not compatible, I cannot use steam link because it is incompatible, so it has been a waste of money and the truth is I do not know what to do anymore.

It's the same thing that happened to me. But you, despite the misfortune of having bought an Intel A770 graphics card, are lucky enough to return it or throw it away. My misfortune is that my card is an A770M integrated into a high-end NUC and I will have to throw away the entire NUC. As I think I said, I will not buy anything Intel again after this experience, the next barebone will be a combination of AMD-Nvidia inside, but nothing Intel even for free.

I totally agree with you but the problem is that I bought the GPU over a year ago and it's impossible to return it, I can probably return the Quest 3 because my only purpose with the headset was to play flight simulator and I can't and I'm very angry, I was checking the price for nvidia or AMD GPUs but the prices are very high so there's nothing else to do but stick with what you have.

And the INTEL people don't say anything, and only silence accompanies us, and they say that the last GPU, the 580, has sold out. I don't believe that, rather I think they released few to make them sell out and those who bought them don't know what awaits them. And all of us who have INTEL GPUs are screwed because we can't do anything in VR,

That's right, but I say in all the forums where they talk about those "wonderful" Intel graphics cards, that you shouldn't be fooled because they are not compatible with PCVR games, and if you don't suffer now, you will suffer when you buy VR glasses. As I said before, Intel with its present and future graphics cards has made me hate any Intel product, even if it is good, bad, cheap or expensive. Intel inside? No thanks, never more.

That is correct, no VR support. For regular games its OK but no VR support!!!!
They must know that this is a serious issue. Yet after a year still nothing.
I also have some issues with HDR. Need to turn it off sometimes.
Don't get me wrong, love the price but when you can't play your games, that is an issue.
That is why I still have my old 1070TI in another PC for VR games.
Shame on you Intel.

I agree, back to Nvidia. I will not buy the Intel card again. On top of that, you are deleting constructive and in-kind contributions to the VR theme. Not to mention the fact that you promised to solve the low iddle consumption in the Battlemage row while still relying on the problematic ASPM feature turned on in the BIOS. You disappoint me Intel.

Hi everyone,
I can confirm that VR is not supported on Intel® Arc™ A-Series and B-Series GPUs.
This is noted here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000093024.html
I know this isn't the kind of response you were looking for and understand your frustration. If this situation changes in the future we will update the article above.
Best Regards,
Ronald M.

Sorry for the bad english, but official native VR support should finally be your priority for the gaming dGPUs. You have released a second series of dGPUs Battlemage and still nothing, you promised support more than a year and a half ago, it is searchable here in forum. Is year 2024/2025. Old Polaris (AMD) and Pascal (Nvidia) dGPUs (2016!) have this support. You can no longer ignore the VR segment if you are serious about dGPUs. A lot of interesting VR games came out: HL: Alyx, Metro, Alien Incursion and much, much more with direct or indirect VR support, finally do something about it. Using VD (paid app) is not an official solution and does not work everywhere and 100%. PSVR 2, in turn, has various faults. Otherwise, as owner of the A770 LE, I am considering a return to AMD/Nvidia if the Intel VR segment continues to be ignored. You've had plenty of time to add support.
